Originally built in 1940 and recently remodeled, Lake Winnipesaukee #514 is a stunning ultra-luxe, four-story home located a short walk from Meredith’s popular restaurants and shops. Replete with 37’ of custom cabinetry, Calcutta quartz countertops, a chef-quality six-burner gas stove, double-oven and refrigerators; as well as a spacious pantry with two dishwashers and two stainless steel sinks, you can certainly prepare meals for a crowd! Guests can enjoy meals at the
10’ island with seating for six, which also features a 36” sink with garbage disposal, microwave and trash compactor, or at the dining table with room for eight.
The open concept kitchen provides access to the living-room which seats six; the focal point of which is the stone-stacked granite, floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace with a wall mounted flat-screen TV. The windows that surround the fireplace, as well as the 24’ of sliders that open onto a 31’ x 21’ deck, allow for brilliant sunlight to flow into the living area. So as not to obstruct the view, this deck is enclosed by cable railing, making it the ideal place to dine al fresco or merely relax.
The den on this floor comes replete with another granite gas fireplace and two sliders, one of which opens to the driveway, the other which allows access to a deck that leads to an outside patio and kitchen with gas grill. There is also a queen-sized bedroom on the first floor, with its own en-suite bathroom with ¾ shower with custom tile.
There are four bedrooms on the second floor. Should you choose to, the lower level of the home can be closed-off from the remainder of the house. The open-concept living area on this level has a gas-fireplace, media and sitting rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with floor-to-ceiling custom cabinets, a refrigerator with French doors, and a café-style oven.
